Waratah clear stamp set

I adore this new clear photopolymer  stamp set by Beccy Muir. This set is called "Waratah" and has beautiful images and sentiments which you will love. This set and many more can be found in Beccy's online shop. There are more great projects by the rest of the design team which can be found on Beccy's Place blog.

As you can see from the photos I used the images and sentiments from the Waratah stamp set to create three cards. The first card I stamped the single flower image and coloured it with pencils. The card shape and layers and border were all  cut using my Brother Scan'n'cut. It was one of the first things I cut with it. The white layer was embossed with an embossing folder.

The second card also used the single from from the Waratah stamp set and a different sentiment.  The image was stamped onto a cream card and coloured once again with pencils. This time I used very soft colours. The card was completed with different pattern papers.

The third card used the multi image stamp from the 'Waratah' stamp set. This time I used very strong colours to colour the flowers as I wanted it to really stand out. The colouring was done with Derwent Coloursoft pencils. The layers were done with Tattered Lace dies.

Thank you for the visit.

Time for another super cute set of digital stamps from Beccy Muir. This set of digital stamps is called 'Hello Foxy' and you can find this and more in Beccy's Shop

You will find inspiration from the rest of the design team on Beccy's Place Blog. There is also a monthly challenge and free image for you to play with, so do pay a visit.

My first project using on of the fox image from the "Hello Foxy" set  is a wall hanger. The background is a piece of mountboard which has been painted with a green shimmer paint. The fox image was printed on a sheet of A4 white card, coloured with alcohol markers and cut out. The sentiment was also printed from the " Hello Foxy" digital set. The leaves were die cut and coloured.

The second project using "Hello Foxy" digital set is a card. The second fox image from the 'Hello Foxy' digital set was printed onto white card and cut out with a square die. The image was coloured with alcohol markers. The background was made by embossing a piece of green patter card and then inking over it. The sentiment is from the 'Hello Foxy' set as well.

Bear Hugs

Bear Hugs is the latest digital set to be released by Beccy Muir. I love this bear, he/she is so adorable!!!  As always 'Bear Hugs'  and many more digital and polymer stamps can be found in Beccy's Shop. You will want to visit Beccy's Place blog, to see what wonderful creations the rest of the design team have come up with .

My card was a relatively simple to make. I printed the 'Bear Hugs' image and one of the sentiment on a sheet of A4 white card and then coloured it with alcohol markers. It was then fussy cut and added to a blue polka-dot card  added frame around it. It is quite a large card and I am really please with the combination of colours.

My Neighbourhood set

Happy New Year to everyone! Hope this year will be a happy and peaceful one for all. Time to share a new digital set of stamps from Beccy Muir. This incredible useful and versatile set is called 'My Neighbourhood' and come with lots of great images you can use on their own or combined like I have done.

For my card, I combined the church, shrubs and the balloon  ( from My Neighbourhood set) to created my scene. The scene was coloured with alcohol markers. I used a Tattered lace die for the backing and a Crafter's companion embossing folder for the background. The blue card I bought from The Works and it's great to using on the Scan and cut machine.

The is so much you can do with this set. Find more inspiration from the rest of the DT on Beccy's Place blog.

My first box frame

Made some time to play in my craft room today. This is my first box frame and I am pleased with it. The background is a card from Hunkydory. The wooden letters are from The Works in Royston, which have been painted and edges with chalk ink. The letters have a really lovely shimmer as I used Imagination crafts starlight paints. The key, heart and bird die is from Sizzix and have been layered multiple times to create depth.

Really hoping that the people it's made for will like it and not find it too simple.

The year started with an unexpected trip to the vet yesterday. Skipper got trodden on accidentally :(
She is ok but was really 'High' on the pain meds!!! lol  It was so funny to watch. :)

Hope the rest of the year will be a peaceful one!!!!

Sugar and Spice

Can you believe just how close we are to Christmas. If you are like me and have not really started on your cards as yet, then this beautiful 'Sugar and Spice' photopolymer stamp set by Beccy Muir is a must have. The images are adorable and very easy to colour, so you can have a bunch done in no time.

My first card, I stamped the large image from the 'Sugar and Spice' stamp set and coloured it with water soluble pencils. Then sprayed it with a layer of glitter. The  blue background layer was make with stencils, embossing folder and pastels. The yellow layer was created by stamping with a gold paint and then adding various shades of yellow inks.

The second card was simple. I stamped the images on a white card and coloured them. The cut two windows out of the blue card layered it. Added some snowflakes with glitter paint using a stencil. The sentiment and both images are from the 'Sugar and Spice' stamp set.

Hope you visit Beccy's Place Blog for more inspiration.
