A4 card

Hope you are all keeping nice and warm. It's freezing again this morning. Was asked to make a maternity card and this is what I came up with. The image is from Beccy Muir's 'Cool Chicks digital set ' and I just love this image. It was printed twice and the eyes and beak cut out and decoupaged onto the first image (after it was fussy cut). The words were printed and cut out. The background is a beautiful glitter paper.

Have a great day.

Very cold morning

It's been a white morning here. Took this in the garden before going out for a nice walk in the sunshine. Love walking around the fields on a nice cold sunny day like today.
Hope you all stay nice and warm.

Just like Skipper was doing before I woke her up.  lol She is doing much better now.

Keep warm.

Tied up with string set

This new release by Beccy Muir is called ' TIED UP WITH STRINGS'. It's a super useful set of digital stamps and sentiments. You can purchase the set from BECCY'S SHOP. The is also more inspiration from the rest of the design team on her BLOG

Below are the three projects I made using images from  the ' Tied up with a string' set.  Strange to be seeing the photos again after making these months ago. Don't know about you, but I tend to forget what I made. :)

The first project is a gift box. There are lots of tutorial on the web to show you how to make a simple box. The sentiment and image were printed on white card and coloured with pencils. The background was done by embossing green card and then using gold metallic wax over the top.

This card base was made using a Tattered lace die. The layers are all dies from the same set. The images were cut out and coloured with pencils again. The white flowers were die cut and layered to created the dimensional flowers.

For this cracker I used  a sheet of green paper and printed the pre-coloured image all over to create the pattern paper. The candle image was printed on white card and coloured with pencils and cut out with a die. The cracker was made by wrapping the printed paper around a cardboard tube and tied at the ends. Really easy to do.

If you have any questions about my makes I am happy to answer them.

Just to let you know that both Skipper and I are doing well. Can't tell you how good it is to be able to eat again. Skipper is also eating well and a bit more alert.  Thanks for the lovely comments, we really appreciate them.

God Bless.

Merle digital set

My card using the new Beccy Muir digital set called 'Merle'. You can find the set and many others in Beccy's Shop. For more inspiration do have a look at Beccy's Blog.

The Merle image and sentiment were printed onto white card. The image was coloured with pencils and glitter pen. I then die cut several sizes of circles from the card and then backed it with a green glitter card. The snowflake die came free with a magazine.

Sorry I have not been around but have not been very well, hopefully things will be back to normal service soon.

Have a great day.

Christmas Bells

Showcasing two cards made using Beccy Muir's new polymer stamp set called 'Christmas Bells'.
It's a very useful set and stamps beautifully. You can find this set and many others in Beccy's Shop.

My first card above was by firstly stamping the bell image (Christmas Bell set) three times and colouring them with pencils. The two top layers parts of the image was cut away and layered onto hte first layer. I used several different dies for the circle layers. The base was done with an embossing folder and then white ink of the top.

For this second card I used the other  bell image from the Christmas Bells set. The image was stamped onto watercolour card and coloured with watercolour pencils. It was then cut out and hung in the middle of the aperture (made with a die).

Hope you like the projects and would be interested in seeing what the rest of the Design Team have created with this wonderful set of stamps from Beccy Muir

Welcome baby girl

Don't know about you but I do struggle with baby congratulation cards. Was asked to make a card for someone and this is the end result. It had about four different looks before I settled on the final one. :)
I used several different dies and papers (sorry can't recall the manufactures). The stamp of the pram and sentiment is from Kaisercraft. The pram was coloured with alcohol markers and pencils.

Have a great day and believe that all things work out in the end.

Mr Snowflake set

Digital image set by Beccy Muir

 close up view of bag

Gift bag I decorated using the Mr Snowflake image and sentiment. The Mr Snowflake set is by Beccy Muir and can be found in her shop

The image was printed in black and white and coloured with pencils. Used a variety of snowflake stamps (my stash) for in the background. Used some die cuts to add the extra snowflake details.
Really easy to dress up gift bags for giving gifts at Christmas. Why don't you give it a try.

For this second card I used one of the sentiment and the bell image for the main focal point on this card. I enlarged the bells so they will fit nicely on the 6 inch card. I had drew the boarder around the image and coloured them with inktense pencils.

My last project was this wine bottle holder. I used the image and sentiment from the Snowflake set and created the tag for the wine holder. The image was coloured with inktense pencils and cut fancy cut and added to the holder. The holder was made using Tonic dies.

Hope you like  the projects and do have a look at Beccy's blog and SHOP for more inspiration from the other DT members.

Merry and Bright

Time to get started on those Christmas cards. My favourite colours when it comes to Christmas are silver and blue. For this card I used Beccy's Muir's set of polymer stamp called 'Snow Drifters' for the main image and the snow background.  Image was coloured with pencils.

Joining The Month of Holiday cards on Beccy's Place.

Have a great day and keep warm.

Snow Drifters stamp set

This is another one of Beccy Muir's new clear stamp set call 'Snow Drifters'. Is is an adorable set and the snowflake stamps are just so useful for backgrounds. They stamp really well and you will love them.
You can find this set and other in Beccy Muir's shop

These are the projects I created using this wonderful stamp set.

This little sweet/gift holder is very easy to make. Take a rectangle piece of card and stamp the snowflakes in different colour inks and the sentiment. Then colour another piece of rectangle card in blue  and attach it to one end of the white base card. Stamp  the snowman from the 'Snow Drifters'set and colour with alcohol markers, cut out. Add two handles (punches) to the top of the rectangle and fold and staple the base to form the shape and then add the coloured snowman.

These coasters were made using both the large images from the 'Snow Drifters' set. The main images and sentiments (from Snow Drifters set) were stamped and coloured with alcohol markers. The snowflakes were stamped onto the background.
These are really easy to make.

Hope you will take a look at Beccy's Place for more inspiration from the rest of the DT.

Thank you for visiting today.

Teenager's birthday card

Met my nephew-in- law for the first time a few weeks ago and his a lovely lad. His birthday is coming soon and I made this card for him. He is football mad and I am hoping he will like this.
The background is done with Brusho crystals and then lots of different football related stamps were stamped over the background. The name was cut out and the edges inked. The trophy was stamped, coloured with pencils and cut out. Sentiment was stamped and inked and faux stitched.

Thank you for the visit and I hope you have a lovely day.

Grumpy Goose Set

This is another adorable digital set by Beccy Muir which  is call 'Grumpy Goose Set'. I just love the cute goose image and the sentiments which go with it. This set can be found in  Beccy Muir's Shop.
You can find more inspiration on Beccy's blog

Decided to keep these two cards very simple as I just wanted the sentiments and image to stand out. Just  adore the cute goose and the fun sentiments.  Both images were printed onto white cards and coloured with pencils. I used embossing folders on the background and pattern paper. Several dies were used on the second card.

Hope you like my cards. Do pay a visit to Beccy's Blog to see what the other DT members have created.
